Finally the ewes and lambs leave the barn

At last the grass has grown enough to get the ewes with lambs out of the barn. Its a bit late, but better late than never. Some of these lambs are 6 weeks old and haven't seen grass, they didn't lift up their heads for a couple of hours!!!

Cliff sheep reappear!!!!!

A couple of the sheep stuck down the cliff(see earlier post) have reappeared with lambs in tow. Now I have to try and bring them in, I think they will be a bit difficult.

Scots Dumpy eggs starting to hatch

The Scots Dumpy eggs have started to hatch, so far 2 white, 5 cuckoo and a blue!!!

Scots Dumpy chicken and Shetland duck eggs in the incubator

 

80 Scots Dumpy chicken eggs in, from the Black, Cuckoo, White and Red breeding pens. 20 Shetland duck eggs in to fill up the incubators. Should have plenty of chicks and ducklings around in 3 to 4 weeks. Hopefully will have some for sale later in the year. Just drop me a email if anyone is interested?
